Darius Jackson isn’t backing down on his stance after he criticized the outfit his girlfriend, Keke Palmer, wore for Usher’s Las Vegas concert.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” the father of one tweeted on Wednesday following fan backlash.
“This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe,” he continued. “I rest my case.”
The former fitness instructor, 29, initially raised eyebrows when he publicly shamed his girlfriend — whom he dubbed as “his wife” — for her outfit of choice.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he commented on a video from the concert.
In the video, Palmer wore a sheer black dress over a matching thong bodysuit as she and the R&B singer embraced and sang “There Goes My Baby.”
Fans quickly snapped back at Jackson’s follow-up tweet, with one user calling the latest remarks a product of “little man syndrome.”
“This tweet is more embarrassing to your family than the outfit was,” a second wrote.
A third slammed Jackson’s choice to take his woes to Twitter, writing, “publicly embarrassing [sic] your partner is lame.”
However, it seems the “Nope” star and her beau’s feud just sparked today, as Palmer was just gushing over Jackson on Tuesday.
“Not tryna be the person but… I love my man.(PERIODT!)
