They were playing the field.
Tara Reid reminisced about her casual romance with Tom Brady in the early 2000s before explaining why she doesn’t find him attractive these days.
“We’d just see each other on and off,” Reid, 48, told Bustle of the former Patriots quarterback in an interview published Thursday.
“It was nothing serious, but it was fun,” she added.
The “American Pie” actress said that she and the athlete, now 46, would go out for beer and “have fun and dance.”
“He was cool,” the former party girl said.
But Reid — who is currently in a relationship with Nathan Montpetit-Howar — said that Brady has since lost his appeal.
“He’s all skinny now. He’s so serious,” Reid said, adding, “He used to laugh. When I watch his interviews, he’s so cocky now.”
The “Josie and the Pussycats” alum and Brady started hanging out in 2002. Though they never publicly confirmed their fling at the time, Reid admitted in 2014 that they had kissed.
“He’s pretty good-looking,” she said in a 2014 interview on the Australian radio show “Kylie and Jackie O.”
Prior to her short-lived romance with Brady, Reid had been engaged to Carson Daly but they broke up in June 2001.
Reid has been linked to several other men throughout the years including actors Steve Burton and Ted Dhanik, former baseball player Doug Reinhardt, and DJ Erez Eisen.
She was also engaged to Michael Axtmann in 2010 and a year later she claimed to have married Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayov, though she later revealed they never legally tied the knot.
In 2011, she also alleged that she married Michael Lillelund, but he denied that they ever wed.
In 2016, Reid and actor Dean May participated in “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” but were booted when they revealed they lied about their relationship to get on the show, US Weekly reported.
Currently, she lives with her boyfriend in her sleek condo in Hollywood that she bought in 2002 with her first paycheck.
Reid and the Phanton Acoustics president met five years ago at a dinner party.
“He’s my best friend, my partner in crime; he’s patient like no other,” Reid said of Montpetit-Howar.
Reid recently spoke about the pressures of getting married and starting a family as a celebrity.
“I’m not married, I don’t have kids … and I think, in Hollywood, if you don’t have kids or you’re not married, you’re judged,” she told Derek Warburton for a Mr. Warburton Magazine interview, exclusively revealed by Pvnew in June of this year. “So they still think you’re that party girl from 40 years ago.”
She added, “What if you can’t have kids or what if you don’t want to get married? You can’t judge people on that anymore. And it’s the one thing that I think is really unfair about our society.”
Meanwhile, Brady is single and dating following his 2022 divorce from his wife of 13 years, Gisele Bündchen.
He and the former Victoria’s Secret angel, 43, share two kids: Vivian, 11, and Benjamin, 13. Brady also shares son Jack, 16, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady has been casually seeing Irina Shayk since May and the duo were spotted brushing shoulders at Leonardo DiCaprio’s Art basel party last week. They were also seen getting into a car together days later.
But sources told Pvnew that the seven-time Super Bowl champion is keeping his options open and “dating around.”
This was made clear when he was seen flirting with a gaggle of gals at Wayne Boich’s star-studded soirée in Miami last Friday. As Pvnew exclusively reported, Brady seemed particularly interested in a mystery blonde.
Brady’s rep did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
