How’s that for quiet luxury?
Meghan Markle was spotted boarding a flight from Los Angeles to London Monday night to join husband Prince Harry ahead of the Invictus Games, dressed in a laid-back look worth a whopping $40,000.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a pair of wide-leg, sailor-style Ulla Johnson Polina pants ($590) along with her favorite pointy-toed white Valentino Roman Stud flats, which originally retailed for $770 but are now sold out.
She further accessorized with Celine Triomphe sunglasses ($510), a Janessa Leone Michon hat ($267) and a Goyard Bellechasse Biaude PM tote, the latter of which retails for over $2,000; Markle’s Hermès Brides de Gala scarf ($1,225) could be seen peeking out of the logo-covered carryall.
But the priciest elements of the duchess’ outfit were on her wrist; Markle stacked her yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet ($7,350) with her beloved Tank Française watch ($26,000) in the same precious metal, the latter of which she’s believed to have inherited from Princess Diana.
The Duchess of Sussex owns a second two-tone Tank Française engraved with her initials, which she’s said she plans to pass down to daughter Lilibet one day.
The one accessible part of Markle’s travel look? Her navy V-neck sweater, procured from one of her favorite affordable retailers: J.Crew.
A similar shrunken cashmere style retails for just $138 — proving that while Markle’s clearly got a taste for the finer things in life when it comes to fashion, she’s still a fan of the occasional wallet-friendly wardrobe staple.
