Ruby Franke’s family wants to see her behind bars “forever” if she’s convicted of aggravated child abuse.
The disgraced YouTube star’s sisters-in-law Cynthia and Jennifer Franke reacted to Ruby’s in-court claims that one of her six children sexually abused a sibling, telling the Daily Mail that she’s only looking for a scapegoat.
“I don’t know what to believe from her. I think she’s lying,’ Cynthia told the outlet.
“She’s putting the blame on her two kids to validate what she did to her children. At this point, I think she’ll say anything to save herself.”
Cynthia, who is the wife of Ruby’s older brother Alan, said that she had “no idea” what was going on behind closed doors.
“I don’t think she should get out on bail. I do believe the allegations against her,” she said. “After all of this, she should be put away forever if convicted.”
Jennifer, who is married to Ruby’s husband Kevin’s brother Aaron, blasted the former “8 Passengers” host as a “narcissist” who was very “pious.”
Jennifer recalled a night when Kevin and Ruby brought their kids over for dinner and ended up chastising their sister-in-law for her kids’ behavior.
“After having dinner, my kids grabbed some snacks to eat. They offered some to their cousins, Ruby’s kids. She wouldn’t allow them to eat any of the snacks,” Jennifer recalled.
“Then Ruby had the gall to say to me, ‘I just can’t believe you allow your kids to run amok in your kitchen.’ I told her it’s my house and my kids.”
That was the last time Jennifer saw the momfluencer and her husband.
Ruby, 41, as well as her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt, were arrested on Aug. 30 in Utah on two counts of aggravated child abuse. about a week later, they were both slapped with four additional charges.
In a video appearance from a Utah jail, Ruby claimed that one of her kids molested “several” other family members and neighbors for “years.”
Ruby also claimed that the troubled child began looking at pornography at 3 years old.
During her initial court appearance, the disheveled-looking vlogger learned that she would remain behind bars without bail.
Kevin, meanwhile, has denied any involvement in Ruby’s alleged crimes.
“He’s a very gentle guy, and no one’s ever made any allegations that he’s ever physically abused those kids or anyone else,” Kevin’s attorney, Randy S. Kester, said during a “Good Morning America” interview.
“He just wants to do what’s best for his kids and get them back, get them under his tutelage and his fathership and protect them.”
