Sorry she’s not home right now, she’s walking into spiderwebs.
Doja Cat hit the VMAs 2023 red carpet wearing a tangled mesh web by Monse — and not much else.
The singer freed the nipple in the barely-there pink gown, leaving very little to the imagination and putting her controversial tattoos (including a spider hanging from a skeleton web) on full display.
Doja, 27, accessorized with just a thong and clear heels, wraparound bracelets, diamond rings and dangling diamond earrings, as well as a silver spider ear cuff.
The star also added a tiny silver Dior logo grill to her smile, with the French fashion brand’s name peeking out on her front teeth.
She showed off her signature shaved head, paired with white eyeshadow, crystal embellishments, dramatic Twiggy-esque lashes and a mauve lip.
One fan tweeted in support, “Doja Cat turning heads and stealing the spotlight on the #VMAs red carpet with her iconic style.”
Doja – who previously hosted the MTV awards show in 2021 in a series of wild ‘fits – is up for five awards, including Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Hopefully, Doja liked this ensemble more than the thong-exposing black gown she hit the Victoria’s Secret World Tour wearing last Wednesday.
The “Woman” songstress put up and then quickly deleted an Instagram Story raunchily ranting about the dress, which she said put her “whole vagina” on display and when all she asked for “was a slip dress.”
The “Attention” rapper, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, is known for making a mark on the red carpet and during fashion weeks all over the globe, with her signature bald head and shaved brows.
Doja has surprised fans by rocking everything from realistic cat ears with a feline face at the Met Gala to a face covered in fake eyelashes for Paris Fashion Week.
The “Streets” songstress doesn’t care about the inevitable backlash she receives for her wild style.
In August, Doja talked about her offbeat ensembles when she was named a Harper’s Bazaar Icon and said, “My theory is that if someone has never met me in real life, then, subconsciously, I’m not real to them… And when that person changes drastically, there is a shock response that is almost uncontrollable.”
“I’ve accepted that that’s what happens,” Doja explained.
Forget about channeling her inner feline, Doja’s all about slipping into a spider web when it comes painting the town red on this pink carpet.
