Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s family honored her with a touching funeral on Wednesday afternoon.
The eldest daughter of “Mama June” Shannon died Saturday at the age of 29 following a cancer battle.
Shannon and her other daughters — Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 18, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, 23 — were photographed looking somber while arriving at Williams Funeral Home of Gordon in Georgia.
Cardwell’s husband, Eldridge Toney — whom she secretly married in March — as well as her 11-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, were also in attendance.
Shannon, 44, was accompanied by her husband, Justin Stroud.
According to TMZ, the production crew for “Mama June: From Not to Hot” had been documenting Cardwell’s terminal illness but decided against filming her end-of-life services.
Outside the funeral home was a sign that read, “Please leave your phone in the car! No photos allowed past this point! If you can’t respect that, you can leave.”
The program featured a photo of Cardwell alongside a poem titled “Broken Chain.”
It read, “We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
“You left us peaceful memories, and though we can not see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”
Cardwell passed away on her youngest daughter Kylee’s 8th birthday after being diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January.
“She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months,” Shannon told her social media followers on Sunday, going on to ask for “continued prayers and thoughts for [their] family [during] this difficult time.”
The reality TV matriarch — who is also mom to daughter Jessica Shannon, 27 — admitted to her fans the following day that she was “so emotionally and mentally mindf–ked right now” amid the heartbreak.
