Say hello to this American princess.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brought their 2-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, to a Fourth of July parade near their home in Montecito, Calif. yesterday, marking the first time she’s been seen in public — and her darling outfit is a sweet nod to her dad.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, held the young princess in photos from the parade, with his daughter wearing a patriotic blue-and-white floral dress and red Mary Janes that resembled the same ones Harry wore as a child in the mid-1980s.
While Princess Charlotte wore her uncle’s exact red shoes when she was a toddler in 2017, Lilibet’s appear to be a new pair with different closures at the strap.
The Sussex princess — who bears a strong resemblance to her ginger father — paired the sweet shoes with lacy white knee socks and a navy ribbon in her red pigtails.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry sported jeans and a green shirt with the sleeves rolled up, appearing to try and go somewhat incognito in sunglasses and a baseball cap.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, and Prince Archie, 4, were also seen at the parade in an exclusive photo obtained by Pvnew, with the duchess wearing what appeared to be a blue dress and Archie sporting jeans and a white shirt.
The mom of two was also spotted in Santa Barbara with Prince Harry earlier this week, sporting chic brown linen shorts ($128) from Reformation and a white Anine Bing shirt ($199) with a Janessa Leoné straw fedora ($267) while the duke kept it casual in another jeans and baseball cap ensemble.
Their appearance marked the first time the duo had been seen in public since their $20 million Spotify deal was axed.
As for Lilibet, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for more glimpses of the princess in the days to come.
