“Vanderpump Rules” alums Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark rushed their 2-year-old daughter, Hartford, to the hospital after they noticed the toddler struggling to breathe.
“Soooo last night she was breathing very fast and very hard,” Clark told fans via his Instagram Story Monday morning, likening the horrifying scene to “when people start to turn [like] in those zombie movies.”
Clark said he and Schroeder, who is pregnant with baby No. 2, took Hartford to the ER around 6 a.m. and were told she has “some breathing issues,” “possibly high asthma,” “lots of mucus in her lungs” and “a high fever.”
“She’s on her second ‘breathing face thing machine'” and is taking “something that will open her lungs more,” the worried dad explained, adding that he and his equally concerned wife are “hoping this works the second time.”
Clark said he and his “The Good The Bad The Baby” podcast co-host are “just waiting” and “will update when [they] know more,” admitting, “It’s super scary seeing your kid like this.”
In addition to updating his followers with what’s been going on, the commercial casting and advertising associate also shared a photo that showed the former SUR server lying with their little girl in a hospital bed.
Hartford, who was wrapped up in a blanket, had some kind of monitor attached to her big toe.
Hours later, Clark returned to the social media platform to say the trio was “back home” and that their “slightly improved” daughter had been prescribed a nebulizer to use for the next two days.
“But we might have to go back tonight if she gets worse again,” he shared, going on to post a terrifying video he had taken earlier in the day that showed Hartford’s abdomen working overtime as she gasped for air.
“If you see your child breathing like this,” he warned fellow parents, “take them to the hospital ASAP.”
Neither Clark, 43, nor Schroeder, 35 — who welcomed Hartford in January 2021 — has ever disclosed whether their little one has any preexisting health conditions.
The couple tied the knot in a secret backyard ceremony in September 2020, going on to wed again in Italy in May 2022.
They announced in March that they are expecting a second bundle of joy, which they they have since revealed is a boy.
