This star never fails to light up the red carpet.
Amal Clooney brought the sunshine at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Boys in the Boat,” walking the red carpet in a cheerful yellow gown as she joined husband George Clooney, who produced and directed the film.
The human rights attorney, 45, wore a brightly hued Versace dress for the premiere, with Vogue noting that the custom creation featuring spaghetti straps and a long, flowing skirt was “inspired by a look from the brand’s spring/summer 1993 collection.”
The mom of two wore her hair down in a wavy style, accessorizing with a sparkling gold clutch and Cartier statement earrings featuring both yellow and white diamonds.
She finished off her look with shimmery makeup in glowing tones of peach and bronze.
As for George — who directed the historical drama about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team’s journey to the Berlin Olympics — he admitted that his wife’s looks always manage to upstage him on the red carpet.
“She cleans up,” the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor — who sported a classic black suit with a blue dress shirt underneath — told ET at the premiere.
“I’m always embarrassed because I’m wearing something that I’ve worn, like, 1,000 times,” he added, joking that his “entire career has been reduced to a plus one now.”
“I did one of those Women in Film things a couple years ago, and I had to introduce myself as ‘Amal Clooney’s husband’ because, honestly, I was dead otherwise,” he said.
The glamorous couple has been keeping busy promoting “The Boys in the Boat” these days, with Amal wearing a range of stunning red carpet looks including a bright red sequined dress and a sleek top with black velvet trousers.
She also rocked a flashy gold gown at the 2023 British Fashion Awards this month, proving once again that she brings the sparkle wherever she goes.
