Carlos “Mare” Rodriguez was photographed grieving after news broke of his son Leandro De Niro Rodriguez’s death at age 19.
The graffiti artist looked emotional with his head down while standing outside of Drena De Niro’s Manhattan home on Monday.
Carlos kept his face covered in a baseball cap and black sunglasses during the 32 Morton Street outing.
Drena, Robert De Niro’s eldest child, announced her teenager’s passing in an Instagram post Sunday.
In the touching tribute to her “beautiful sweet angel,” the actress wrote that she doesn’t “know how to live without” him.
“I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama,” the 51-year-old added over the weekend. “You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you.”
She concluded by apologizing to both Carlos and Leandro.
The sculptor commented on Drena’s social media upload the following day, writing, “My dear Drena… words aren’t enough to express the joy he gave us or the loss we now endure with our families and friends. He is Godschild [sic] now.
