Landon Barker is a man of his word.
Charli D’Amelio revealed her boyfriend’s latest tattoo of her eye was the result of him losing a simple, childhood game.
“He was like, ‘I have to get a tattoo. What should I get?'” the TikTok star recalled to People Wednesday.
“And I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, you should get my face.'”
Even though Barker initially agreed, she still challenged him to a round of rock, paper, scissors over the tribute ink.
“I was like, ‘Rock, paper, scissors,’ and I won,” D’Amelio, 19, said.
However, the influencer didn’t believe Barker, 19, would actually honor his word until he surprised her with a text message.
“[Dixie] drives me to his dad’s studio where he’s getting the tattoo and we walk in and he’s actually getting it,” she told the outlet.
While “Dancing with the Stars” champion didn’t mind the heartfelt gesture, she was concerned about her parents’ approval.
“My only thought was, ‘You have to tell my dad that you just got this.’ But my parents thought it was cool and so did his,” Charli explained.
The “Die in California” musician proudly showed off the black-and-white artwork on his Instagram Story earlier this month.
He had the realistic tattoo of his girlfriend’s eye and eyebrow placed on the outer part of his bicep.
Landon’s ink is similar to the one his father, Travis Barker, got on his thigh in January in honor of his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
“Like father like son,” a fan previously commented about the tattoo.
Charli and Landon had been dating for a year prior to his permanent gesture, but the two seemingly already shared a love of tattoos.
They went public with their relationship last year after sparking romance rumors when they stepped out to get ink together in Los Angeles.
Since then, the young couple hasn’t avoided the spotlight and are known to post their PDA on social media.
