From Alabama to Jamaica?

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler’s daughter Alabama Barker, 17, danced on TikTok in a bikini and knit poncho featuring Rastafarian colors Tuesday — and her followers were quick to slam the aspiring rapper‘s style.

“jamaican gyal,” one commented on the clip of Alabama lip-syncing to R&B artist Bobby V.’s “Slow Down” in the open-weave look, dropping an emoji of the Caribbean nation’s flag.

“it’s giving adel [sic],” another quipped, referencing the “Rolling in the Deep” singer’s infamous Jamaican flag bikini and Bantu knots from 2020.

While Alabama told the commenter she was “trippin,” that didn’t stop others from criticizing her look.

“real island gyal,” one joked, while another wrote, “someone thinks they’re a rasta.”

“BOMBACLATT,” a third added,” invoking the Jamaican slang term used to express surprise or disdain.

And when someone demanded, “girl take that off rn,” Alabama shot back, “Make me.”

Alabama, whose makeup routine has also come under fire on the platform, isn’t the only celebrity to be accused of cultural appropriation after wearing the colors of the Jamaican flag (nor is Adele).

When Gwen Stefani appeared in Sean Paul’s “Light My Fire” music video last year sporting dreadlocks and a dress in shades of yellow, green and black, commenters had a field day.

“Ahhhh Gwen Stefani went back to her Jamaican roots. Nature is really healing,” one person tweeted at the time.
