Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig knew each other long before Pvnew broke the news of their bombshell romance.
In fact, a photo from December 2016 showing the new couple “hanging out” has surfaced following their dating news, which comes just over a year after their former spouses’ alleged affair made headlines.
“Loved hanging out with our GMA family, especially @ajrobach and her hubby, @7_a_e_s_7, who we don’t get to see nearly enough. #andrewshue,” Fiebig – who was married to T.J. Holmes at the time – captioned the selfie, which she posted nearly seven years ago.
The image shows the 45-year-old attorney smiling and pressing her face up against an equally happy Shue, 56, who was married to Amy Robach at the time.
Fiebig also posted a picture with the “Melrose Place” star-turned-soccer player and “Good Morning America” co-host Michael Strahan in June 2017, which she captioned, “Some Fridays are better than others…❤️❤️❤️#fridaynight #friends #gmafamily.”
Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, were both axed from their gigs as “GMA3” co-anchors after their dalliance was exposed last November.
Holmes’ divorce from Fiebig – with whom he shares one daughter – was finalized in October, while Robach and Shue settled their split in March.
While navigating their respective breakups, Fiebig and Shue struck up a relationship.
Multiple sources told us Tuesday that the pair has been dating for about six months after bonding over their shared traumatic experience.
“It turned into something else, and they’re connected over their values. It’s bigger than the affair now,” one source said.
Another added, “They’re not heartbroken and sad. Everyone has moved on.”
Meanwhile, on the premiere episode of their eponymous podcast, Holmes and Robach insisted that they did not cheat on their now-exes with each other.
However, insiders told us their alleged affair did play a major role in their respective divorces, “no matter how they try to spin it.”
As one source put it, “Marilee and Andrew had their suspicions. People at ABC were talking about it. It was all confirmed last summer.”
