Bethenny Frankel showed her true dedication to co-hosting “Today with Hoda & Jenna” when she showed up wearing a colorful “Today” bathing suit on Tuesday.
The black one-piece swimsuit with side cutouts featured “Today” written in white on the center with the talk show’s signature rainbow above in blue, pink and yellow and matching patterns towards the bottom.
Frankel accessorized the look with black skinny jeans and black strappy heels.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum – who was subbing for Jenna Bush Hager – explained that the look she actually planned didn’t make it to the studio.
“I got here, and I looked over, and I said, ‘Where’s the outfit?’ And I saw people scurrying around me, flipping out, and it was not brought, it didn’t come from the Hamptons to the city,” she said during the show’s opening, referring to her $6.2 million Hamptons home.
Luckily for Frankel, the “Today” show’s third hour host Dylan Dreyer allowed the star to use her dressing room to find an outfit, but rather than wearing “someone else’s clothes,” she became intrigued upon seeing the colorful one-piece.
“I saw this, so I said, ‘Let’s commit to the bit,’ and I’m grateful,” Frankel said. “So I’m committing to the bit.”
Co-anchor Hoda Kotb got a kick out of Frankel’s outfit choice and praised her for the bold move.
“No wonder! Because Dylan said, ‘Did you take the bathing suit?’ And I didn’t know what she was talking about!” Kotb said while laughing.
“Wait it’s got cutouts on the side, girl you have come to play, you are full on ‘Today!'”
Frankel previously showed off the outfit she had planned to bring on TikTok three days ago.
“Help me get ready for the ‘Today’ show,” Frankel said while showing off the outfit she had attempted to bring.
The planned look consisted of a long-sleeve yellow sweater with birds and flowers sewed on top, a white midi skirt and red open-toed heels.
As per usual, the Skinny Girl co-founder found a way to come from a place of yes.
