They don’t talk anymore.
Hannah Berner shared that Charlie Puth messaged her on Instagram less than a month before she tied the knot to Des Bishop.
The “Summer House” alum — who previously teased a singer DM’d her but kept his identity a secret — revealed, “The guy who DM’d me before my bachelorette party was Charlie Puth.”
“He wrote, ‘I like you,'” Berner said on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad,” alongside her co-host and BFF, Paige DeSorbo.
Berner, 31, explained that the day before she set off for her Miami bachelorette party last April, she was “sitting on the couch” when Puth, also 31, messaged her.
She immediately contacted DeSorbo, 30, who joked that her first instinct was, “Whatever you’re down for, I’m down for.”
“He does seem nice,” Berner said. “Not my traditional type … but I just took it as a compliment from an artist seeing another artist. I think he was saying he likes my work.”
The comedian added that she “never opened” the message, so it wouldn’t show him that she had seen it.
“But I wanna say publicly — Charlie thank you, but I am a taken woman,” she declared.
Berner and DeSorbo explained that the “funniest thing about” the message was that both of their moms “are obsessed” with the “Attention” singer.
“My mom saw him in one interview and was like, ‘He just seems so nice!'” DeSorbo said.
Berner jokingly added, “Even though I’m not available, both our mothers wanna f–k you.”
Neither Berner nor Puth follows one another on Instagram, but the former Bravolebrity said some of their listeners somehow figured it out months ago.
It doesn’t appear the DM caused a rift in Berner’s relationship with Bishop, as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary on May 13 and jetted off to France earlier this month together.
Meanwhile, Puth has not publicly dated anyone since splitting with model and fellow pop star Charlotte Lawrence in 2019.
“I never told people what happened to me and the pain that I went through going through the worst breakup of my life in 2019,” he said in a TikTok video last March when discussing his song “That’s Hilarious.”
Puth’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comments.
