only in love and war.
Tamar Braxton and her ex-fiancé, Jeremy “JR” Robinson, are back together two months after announcing their split.
The personal injury lawyer took to Instagram on Sunday, penning a lengthy message about reconciling with the “All the Way Home” songstress after pushing “past the hurt.”
“I had to fight hard to push past the hurt, and past my own ego, because God kept bringing me back to how much I love @tamarbraxton – and yet, I still needed to heal to see the beauty of our love,” he captioned the post.
“At times, I was angry, I was mad with her and so while I was single – I took advantage of people who were ultimately trying to take advantage of me with a singular goal in mind. Hurt people, hurt people. And for that, I take accountability for wanting her to feel some of my pain.”
Robinson added that while he was “healing,” he did not want to be with anyone else.
“I’m grateful that God saw fit to protect what was truly made for me and that we were able to find our way back to love,” he continued.
“I am incredibly touched by how much she fought for me! I’m committed to loving this woman forever and I appreciate all the love and support that have come from our family, friends and supporters!”
In October, the co-founder of The JR Law Group announced that he ended his engagement to Braxton, 46, so he could become “a better person.”
“Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person,” he wrote on his Instagram Story at the time.
Robinson denied cheating on the “Braxton Family Values” alum but did not disclose why they split.
“Tamar and I will always be friends and family for life. Thank you for respecting our privacy,” he added.
During the March finale of dating series “Queens Court,” Robinson popped the question to Braxton.
“I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband,” the attorney told the Grammy nominee. “I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you.
“Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”
The couple’s engagement was quickly overshadowed by one of Robinson’s four baby mamas Anaston Jeni, who alleged that the “Love and War” singer was not being “honest” about her relationship with his children and their mothers when the singer thanked “God for them” and said they were “blessed And drama free.”
“I have sat in silence for over a year, respecting everyone’s privacy while they disrespected mine,” she wrote in the now-deleted post on Instagram March 17.
“I’ve sat in silence while this person has come into my son’s life and caused nothing but chaos and unnecessary drama.”
Jeni alleged that Braxton was “in no way a bonus or step mom” to her and Robinson’s son, Asher, and claimed that she “made NO effort” to meet her and caused the lawyer “to miss visitation weekends and birthdays.”
Braxton was previously married to Vincent Herbert, 50, for nearly nine years before they called it quits in 2017. The singer and the record producer share son Logan, 10.
