Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans’ oldest daughter, Ella, looked distressed after a judge reportedly denied her request to obtain a restraining order against her dad’s girlfriend.
The 13-year-old was seen outside the Los Angeles Superior Court Friday alongside her younger sister, Elsie, and their mom during a lunch break.
Ella, who had a tan hoodie over her head and sunglasses, was visibly upset as she walked with her head down and her arms crossed.
At one point, Elsie consoled her big sister as she wiped away tears. The 9-year-old placed her hand on Ella’s shoulder and then gave her a hug.
Evans seemed to be sad as well, placing her hands on her head as she stood outside.
The British actress, 54, was also photographed bending down to talk to her oldest daughter as she sat on the side of the building.
The ruling comes nearly a month after Ella filed a restraining order against Gruffudd, 49, and his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace.
The teen claimed that Wallace, 30, “slammed a door on her head” following an explosive argument at the “Fantastic Four” actor’s home, according to court docs obtained by the Daily Mail.
In the filing, Ella claims the alleged altercation — which she claims took place on May 26 — was the first time that she had met the “Expired” actress.
Ella reportedly was upset to see her dad’s new girlfriend at his residence during her “overnight visit” and had “told him in the past” that she didn’t want to meet Wallace, per the outlet.
The young girl claimed she was “so upset” with Gruffudd, that she “threw milk on his bed, poured mustard on the floor, and threw raw oatmeal on him” — prompting the pair to allegedly call her “manipulative,” “abusive” and “narcissistic.”
once Ella attempted to leave, things allegedly got physical between her and Wallace, who “tried to block her” by “raising her arms.”
“I was able to make my way around her, and I opened the door,” Ella claimed in the filing. “I was able to walk halfway out the door, but while I was still in the door frame, the Respondent slammed the door on me, causing the door to hit me on the head as well as my arm. My arm got bruised, and I had small bump on my head.”
The Daily Mail reported that the filing also included photos of bruises on Ella’s arm and hand, which she claims were a result of the alleged altercation.
Ella and her younger sister then allegedly ran downstairs and into the street before their father was able to catch up to them.
A family friend allegedly then drove the girls to Evans’ house.
The next day, Evans allegedly saw the bruising on her daughter and they decided to report the incident to the police.
Ella reportedly requested a restraining order against Wallace for five years, claiming that she “is afraid” for her “personal safety.”
A hearing for the case against Gruffudd was scheduled for June 22, however, it was moved to July 13 as part of a wider custody case, per the Daily Mail.
Gruffudd has been battling Evans in and out of court in recent years.
In March 2021, the “Titanic” actor filed to divorce her after 14 years of marriage.
The “102 Dalmatians” actress then accused her estranged husband of having a three-year affair with her friend.
In response, Gruffudd filed for a restraining order against his estranged wife, claiming that she threatened to “make false public accusations,” “sell false stories to the press” and “destroy” his career if he left her.
Last August, he was granted a three-year restraining order against Evans amid their ongoing custody war over their daughters.
