Dean McDermott is reportedly moving forward with his split from Tori Spelling despite deleting his divorce announcement.
“[He] 100 percent wants to get out of the marriage,” a source told People Wednesday.
“He took down the post because Tori didn’t want him to keep it up. But he’s packing his bags and is 100 percent serious about it.”
According to the outlet, the actor and his estranged wife are still living together while he looks for an apartment that he can “afford.”
“He can’t take it anymore. He told her he’s done,” the insider added.
McDermott, 56, shared the news of his separation from the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Saturday in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,” he wrote.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.”
He added, “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.”
The “BH90210” actress, 50, has not spoken out about the split, nor did she share a Father’s Day message for her estranged husband, with whom she shares five children.
Reps for McDermott and Spelling have not responded to Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Following his divorce announcement, the former “Chopped Canada” host was seen without his wedding ring Monday while moving boxes and duffel bags of his belongings into a Los Angeles storage unit.
Meanwhile, Spelling appeared emotional that same day when she was spotted at a friend’s house wearing a “Boys Lie” T-shirt.
Multiple sources have since told People that the breakup came as a surprise to those closest to the former couple, who wed in 2006.
“Their friends have seen their ups and downs through the years, but they really did seem to be in a good place in recent months,” said one source close to Spelling.
“This feels really out of the blue. If this had happened a year ago, it would’ve been expected because things were terrible between them. Sure, they still had their disagreements and didn’t always see eye to eye, but the past six months things had felt good between them.”
Although McDermott and Spelling have been open throughout the years about their marital woes, which included a cheating scandal, another insider also believed that the pair’s relationship issues were in the past.
“They were definitely trying in the last few months though, and things felt way less toxic,” the second source said.
“They also made an effort to make holidays and milestones special and were much more in tune with each other. It’s been a night-and-day difference from the last couple years.”
