Ariana Madix is booked and busy next Tuesday — and manifesting all the good vibes.
On Dec. 5, the “Vanderpump Rules” star is releasing her highly anticipated “Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches” book, which is the same day she’ll be competing in the Season 32 “Finals” of “Dancing With the Stars.”
“I don’t know why I did that to myself to be honest!” she joked to Pvnew in the ballroom Tuesday night. “I’m really setting myself up for quite a day.”
Madix agreed with us, however, on the fact that the day could end up being one of her “best” ever if she ends up taking home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy and receiving positive reviews for the book from fans.
Both victories would end the Bravolebrity’s 2023 on a high note following the rollercoaster of a year she had amid the highly publicized Scandoval drama.
The reality star’s new book will address her relationship with Tom Sandoval and their journey from love to heartbreak after discovering her now-ex’s affair with former co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
“I just hope that through my story other people are able to relate. There’s things that I’ve learned a lot about, like myself and in my journey, and I just want us all to kind of feel empowered,” Madix told us, when asked what she hopes fans will take away from reading the tome.
“It’s not just about me; it’s about so many other people,” she continued. “Even if you don’t resonate with my story whatsoever, there are some really great pictures and some really great cocktails, and sometimes that’s all you need.”
Madix previously teased via Instagram that she would be “fully telling [her] side of the story” in her upcoming book, which she described as her own “breakup album” that features 60 cocktail recipes.
“These last few months have been a whirlwind and though I’m in a better place now, having my personal devastation unfold so publicly was painful,” she wrote in part on Aug. 18.
“Each cocktail tells part of the story of what happened, in my own words. From our happy honeymoon phase, the early issues in our relationship, to when everything broke, and finally, making it out the other side, stronger than before, I’ll cover it all.”
As for heading into her last week on “Dancing With the Stars,” Madix told Pvnew that doing the show has already transformed her in so many ways.
“It honestly has just been like the light of my life the last few months,” she gushed.
The bartender and her pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, will perform one last show together next Tuesday with fellow remaining contestants Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev and Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber.
It’s the first time in “DWTS” history that five dance duos are heading into the finale after the unprecedented decision was revealed at the end of Tuesday night’s “Semi-Finals.”
With just minutes left to go in the show, producers made it seem like either Madix or Gomez – both of whom have been frontrunners all season – were in the “bottom two” and in danger of elimination.
The two appeared to get emotional while awaiting their fate alongside their pro partners.
But then, in a shocking twist that viewers are still talking about on social media, co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that both couples were safe and staying in the competition.
“That pretend elimination was the most terrifying thing. It was sick and twisted!” Madix joked to us moments after it happened. “I was like, ‘I love you guys, but also, I hate you guys for that!’”
Madix and Pashkov’s first performance Tuesday night will be a “Redemption Round” samba to “Spice Up Your Life” by the Spice Girls. The two will then dance to a mashup of “Run The World (Girls)” by Beyoncé and “Level Up” by Ciara for the “Freestyle Round.”
As for what fans can expect from that final, anything goes performance?
Pashkov told Pvnew that viewers will witness a version of the Something about Her co-founder that they “haven’t seen yet” in hopes of impressing judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli one last time.
The three-hour Season 32 finale of “Dancing With the Stars” kicks off Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+ and will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
