Bethenny Frankel fired back at haters who labeled her as “braggy” and “out of touch” for flaunting her massive diamond engagement ring.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum faced backlash Tuesday after comparing her 10-carat emerald-cut sparkler from fiancé Paul Bernon to smaller diamond rings in a playful Instagram video.
On Wednesday, the Bravolebrity took to the comments section to defend herself.
“Seems like it makes you feel jealous. Talk to a professional,” Frankel, 52, clapped back at one critic.
When another troll expressed their preference for the smaller rings over the “gawdy [sic] huge ring,” Frankel replied, “well you’re in no danger of getting it so.”
In a longwinded comment, a “single mother with one child” ranted about how the rich “keep getting richer” and requested Frankel use her money from the ring to help others.
“I just LOVE to see these people spending their money on such AWESOME things while I can’t afford to even pay on my debt,” the Instagram user wrote, adding that Frankel’s ostentatious upload made her feel “sick.”
The Skinnygirl CEO hit back at the criticism, writing, “then you should maybe do something and help some people. Go to a shelter.”
She hurled the same sentiment at a commenter who wrote that “Money Talks [and] Wealth Whispers.”
“It does…not on social media,” Frankel replied. “This culture celebrates multi million dollar weddings in the south of France disguised as quiet. What a scam.”
The former reality star continued, “Lol maybe you should do some charity work…..❤️❤️❤️Thanks for engaging as it is an ENGAGEMENT post!”
She even admitted she “love[s] the trolls bc it’s about ENGAGEMENT” while conversing with one of her defenders.
As for those concerned that Frankel could put herself in harm’s way by publicizing such an expensive ring, she confirmed the jewelry is kept “in a vault.”
“It’s called humor. Get a sense of it,” she blasted another hater.
Frankel has worn her ring, estimated to be worth seven figures, since Bernon’s March 2021 proposal.
“I’m very excited, and it’s really wonderful,” the bride-to-be gushed to Extra after the businessman, 45, got down on one knee.
The duo began dating in 2018 after meeting on a dating app, with Frankel finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Jason Hoppy just ahead of her and Bernon’s engagement.
This isn’t the first time Frankel has displayed her wealth on social media. The “Big Shot With Bethenny” alum recently gave a tour of her $6.2 million Hamptons estate.
However, she also frequently posts content about drugstore makeup and bargain shopping.
