Alabama Barker sent her mom, Shanna Moakler, a bouquet of flowers days after Kourtney Kardashian announced she was expecting a baby with Moakler’s ex-husband, Travis Barker.
Moakler, 48, posted a video of the flowers on her Instagram Story Tuesday, showcasing a note from her 17-year-old daughter that read, “Just because. I love you Mom.”
The former model tagged Alabama in the clip alongside the message, “I love you.”
Kardashian, 44, announced that she was expecting her fourth child during the Blink-182 drummer’s concert by holding up a sign that read, “Travis I’m Pregnant.”
Moakler addressed the pregnancy news via Instagram, sharing that she is “excited” for her ex-husband, 47, and the reality star.
“Very excited for them, hope they have a great experience bringing in a new life to the world,” she responded to a social media user on Instagram.
The beauty queen has not always shown support towards the couple though. In April, she called the musician’s marriage “f–king weird” on the “Miss Understood With Rachel Uchitel” podcast.
“I really don’t have anything positive to say about it. It’s not because I’m bitter, and I’m definitely not jealous,” she said at the time.
Moakler continued, “I wish them nothing but the best, and as long as they’re good to my kids, that’s all I care about. But I think the whole thing is really weird.”
The former Miss USA and Barker were married from 2004 to 2008 and also share son Landon, 19. (Moakler is also mom to daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with ex Oscar De La Hoya.)
Despite the “Hollywood Exes” alum praising the musician for being “a great dad,” she has no interest in keeping in touch with him once their kids are both adults.
“We only have our 17-year-old, who will be 18 this year, and then our work is done here, and we never have to see or talk to each other ever again. And I look forward to that day,” Moakler admitted on the podcast.
The mom of three has also been vocal about questioning the Poosh founder’s parenting in the past, commenting on Instagram that Kardashian “post more of my kids then [sic] her own lol.”
Moakler herself has had her ups and downs with her two youngest children and has gone through phases of estrangement from them.
Alabama once shared on Instagram that her mom “has never completely been in my life.” The teen also urged her followers to “stop painting her out to be an amazing mom.” However, the duo reconciled shortly after.
Meanwhile, Kardashian shares three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8.
Despite Moakler’s shade, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum and Barker have seemed to have happily blended their families.
