Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon was spotted enjoying a rare outing with her dad, Carlos Leon, to celebrate Father’s Day in New York City on Sunday.
Lourdes, 26, and her 56-year-old dad were photographed smiling as they walked around SoHo for a father-daughter day of shopping.
The model was dressed casually in a white crop tank that flaunted her midriff, red basketball shorts and knee-high socks.
She accessorized with a blue-and-white braided shoulder bag and black-and-white striped basketball sneakers with red laces that coordinated with the rest of her ensemble.
Lourdes also seemed to be going makeup free and wore her long brown hair down in waves.
Meanwhile, Carlos looked fit in a tight gray tee that put his bulging muscles on display. He also wore white pants and New Balance kicks, a thick gold chain around his neck, a black crossbody bag and sunglasses to match.
The duo were both seen carrying several shopping bags from their SoHo sojourn. At one point, Lourdes puffed on a cigarette as she caught up with her dad.
In another sweet moment, Carlos wrapped his arm around his daughter’s shoulder.
Lourdes was apparently hosting a closet sale at a store in the area when her dad dropped off a gift for her.
Carlos welcomed Lourdes with Madonna, 64, on Oct. 14, 1996. He and the “Material Girl” singer dated from 1994 to 1997 and still remain close.
“I have a great relationship with all my ex-girlfriends, but especially Madonna,” the fitness trainer said on “The Billy Bush Show” in 2008. “There was a friendship and there still is a friendship. If she needs to talk to me I’m there and if I need to talk to her she’s there. That’s the way it goes.”
“Parents can learn from us in that way. Any parents that stay friends, it’s really good for the children.”
After Carlos’ split with Madonna, he moved on with model Betina Holte, whom he married in 2013.
As for Lourdes’ relationship with Madonna? It apparently isn’t as warm and fuzzy these days. Lourdes alleged in 2021 that her mom controlled her most of her life.
“My mom is such a control freak, and she has controlled me my whole life,” Lourdes told Interview Magazine.
She added, “My mom is very insistent on making me think about what I want to be known for beyond my looks. That’s not what I want people to remember me by. It’s not real.”
Meanwhile, Madonna has five other kids: Rocco Ritchie, 22, David Banda, 17, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 17, and 10-year-old twins Estere and Stella Ciccone.
