Leni Klum is embracing the skin she’s in.
Heidi Klum’s 19-year-old daughter shared a candid snap of her makeup-free face — breakouts and all — in an unfiltered selfie posted to her Instagram Stories Tuesday.
The Dior Beauty ambassador has been open in the past about her skin struggles.
“I feel like there is a thought behind having acne that you’re not beautiful with it or it makes you look not as good as you could look,” she told People in October.
“Then I realized, ‘Oh my God, this is normal.’ Everyone goes through it … It’s not bad if you have it. It’s something that anyone can get and it’s not your fault and it’s hormonal,” she added.
Leni first shared a close-up shot of her bare face in January 2021.
“my skin on a bad day #nomakeup #nofilter #sowhat,” she captioned the selfie.
The GHD ambassador admitted her breakouts used to affect her self-confidence to the point that she “didn’t want to leave the house.”
“I realized I can’t live like that. I can’t let pimples on my face prevent me from leaving the house,” she previously told People.
“A lot of people have acne that make it seem like they don’t and then people see that on social media and they’re like, ‘None of these gorgeous girls have acne.’ But some do and I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”
As for her makeup routine, Leni shared her go-to product during a Vogue Germany “Beauty Secrets” video in May 2022.
She revealed that she applies “just a little bit” of Tarte Shape Tape Concealer ($31) to even out her pimples, scars and dark circles and blends it in with her fingers.
Leni, who studies interior design in NYC, has not let her struggle with acne slow down her modeling career.
The college student has starred in campaigns for brands like Superga and landed major magazine covers, both solo and with her mom.
Heidi, 50, and her eldest child recently posed for separate editions of Super’s spring-summer issue, photographed by Leslie Kee.
The mother-daughter duo also teamed up in lingerie ads for Intimissimi last year.
