King Charles III shared a sweet throwback photo of himself with his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, in celebration of Father’s Day.

“To Dads everywhere, we wish you a special Father’s Day today,” the monarch captioned the post on Instagram Sunday.

The slideshow also included images of Charles with his own father, the late Prince Philip, and Queen Camilla with her late dad, Bruce Shand.

However, the photo of the head royal with his sons is particularly poignant as it was taken on August 16, 1997 — about two weeks before the boys’ mom, Princess Diana, died.

Harry and William were on holiday with their father at Balmoral Castle in Scotland at the time.

They were due to meet up with their mother on August 31 — the day she was killed in a car crash alongside Dodi Fayed in Paris.

The symbolic photo comes on the heels of a seemingly rocky time between the Charles, 74, and his youngest son, 38.

In Harry’s explosive memoir, “Spare,” the Duke of Sussex accused his father of being emotionally distant with him at times.

The controversial book also contained numerous anecdotes about the redheaded royal’s upbringing, including Charles making “sadistic” jokes that he wasn’t Harry’s “real” father.

“Pa liked telling stories, and this was one of the best in his repertoire. He’d always end with a burst of philosophizing … Who knows if I’m really the Prince of Wales? Who knows if I’m even your real father?” the duke claimed.

Within days of the book’s publication, the Charles evicted Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, from their English abode, Frogmore Cottage.

The Archewell Foundation co-founder also took his time deciding whether to attend his father’s coronation and ended up going solo. However, he left immediately after the ceremony to fly back to California in time for his son Prince Archie’s birthday.

Harry then did not attend Charles’ first Trooping the Colour ceremony as monarch on Saturday, which took place one day before the Father’s Day post was shared.

The king was joined on the Buckingham Palace balcony, though, by Prince William and his family, as well as siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward.

Prince William, 40, also celebrated Father’s Day by sharing a photo of himself laughing with his three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

The never-before-seen candid photo even offered a nod to Queen Elizabeth II.

The Wales family posed for the sweet image on a bench in the Windsor Estate that was gifted to the late monarch on her 90th birthday in 2016.
