Blythe Danner made a rare appearance with her son, Jake Paltrow, as they stepped out in New York City on Wednesday.
The “Meet the Parents” star, 80, and the TV and film director, 47, were seen linking arms as they enjoyed a sunny stroll through the city.
Paltrow, who is the younger brother of Gwyneth Paltrow, was spotted using a walking stick while sporting a scraggly beard and tousled hair.
It’s unclear why he needed the cane for assistance, as his rep did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Jake was dressed casually in belted baggy jeans and a denim shirt layered over a maroon henley shirt. He also wore black boots and ’70s-style round-frame sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Danner wore a yellow, white and black oversize knit cardigan, khaki capris, black Mary-Jane shoes, sunglasses and a light blue baseball cap.
The Emmy-winning “Huff” star shared Jake and Gwyneth, 50, with her late husband, Bruce Paltrow.
The “St. Elsewhere” producer died in October 2002 at the age of 58 due to complications from oral cancer during a trip to Italy, where he was celebrating the Goop founder’s 30th birthday.
Danner has not dated anyone since Bruce’s death.
Meanwhile, Jake maintains a relatively private lifestyle compared to his Oscar-winning sister.
The “NYPD Blue” director met photographer and artist Taryn Simon in 1999, and they tied the knot 11 years later. They share two kids: Whister and Eliel.
Gwyneth, for her part, was previously married to Chris Martin, with whom she co-parents two children: Apple, 19, and Moses, 17.
The former couple famously “consciously uncoupled” in 2014 and finalized their divorce two years later.
The “Shakespeare in Love” star went on to wed Brad Falchuk in 2018, while the Coldplay frontman has moved on with Dakota Johnson.
