Kevin Costner is accusing his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, of racking up his credit card debt to fund expenses for their ongoing divorce.
The “Yellowstone” star, 68, alleges in new court documents obtained by Pvnew that the designer, 49, spent $95,000 of his money “without prior notice” to him on lawyers and a forensic accountant.
Costner claims that Baumgartner is in violation of their pre-marital agreement, the details of which his ex reportedly wants the public to see.
The “Bodyguard” star, who has a reported net worth of $250 million, allegedly fears “irreparable harm” will be done to him by fraudsters, burglars and “unwanted and embarrassing global media attention” if his financial information is released.
Aside from using his money without his consent, Costner is still trying to get Baumgartner to move out of their $145 million house in Carpinteria, Calif.
The “Let Him Go” star claims, per the documents, that the model refuses to leave their house — despite their long-standing prenup stating she has 30 days to vacate their home and that a $1.2 million property would be given to her to live elsewhere.
Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner in May after 18 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” at the time.
She reportedly asked for joint custody of their three kids, Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12, but not spousal support due to the terms of her prenup.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” Costner’s rep previously confirmed to TMZ.
“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Pvnew exclusively learned shortly after that Costner was blindsided by Baumgartner’s filing.
A source previously told us the “Draft Day” star was “stunned” by the divorce, adding that the actor found the separation “disappointing” since he still “loves [Baumgartner] and he loves his children.”
Despite speculation about whether infidelity caused the split due to Costner’s past cheating scandal, the insider reaffirmed to us at the time that there was “no issue of cheating at all” between him and Baumgartner.
A source close to the family later revealed to People that the “Waterworld” star’s busy schedule was part of the reason for the dissolution of his marriage.
The insider claimed in May, “Christine wants them to spend family time at their Santa Barbara home. During filming, Kevin is not around very much. His absence has been very hard for her.”
Pvnew has reached out to Costner’s attorney and rep for comment.
