Pregnant Stassi Schroeder admitted she is considering taking Ozempic to lose weight after welcoming her second child.
“Oh, my God, I really want to try it when I give birth,” the “Vanderpump Rules” alum said with a laugh in Wednesday’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“The amount of times I’ve researched this being like, ‘I mean, I think it’s safe and healthy. Like, I think it’s good for you. It’s like taking vitamins,'” she continued.
The show’s host, Alex Cooper, jokingly added a quick disclaimer that “nothing that was said on this podcast medically” is advice her listeners should take.
“But, like, come on, anyone who hears about Ozempic has to f–king be curious,” Schroeder, 34, continued.
“You are a liar if you tell me that you have not thought about it, thought about jumping on that train.”
The former Bravolebrity explained that she respects when celebrities are “transparent” and “honest” about their bodies before doubling down and saying, “Have I Googled Ozempic and what it would be like, and am I thinking about it? Yes, I am.”
“[After] my first pregnancy, I ate bone broth for dinner for six f—king months after I gave birth, and I kind of don’t feel like doing that again. Like, I don’t want to,” she said of welcoming daughter Hartford in January 2021.
Schroeder announced on March 1 that she and her husband, Beau Clark, are expecting their second child in September. She later revealed the baby is a boy.
Cooper, 28, continued to grill her guest, asking whether she would be honest if she did decide to take Ozempic, which is intended to treat Type II diabetes.
“I would like to think that I would be somebody that promotes it and talks about it because, again, I really do love when other people are transparent and honest, so I wanna be that for other people,” the former reality star replied.
Schroeder — who was fired from “Pump Rules” in June 2020 over a past racist incident — acknowledged that people can be really “hard on things like that.”
“It’s like, do I feel like going through all the hate that I’m going to get if I’m honest about it?” she asked before realizing she had already “f—ked” herself by talking about Ozempic on one of Spotify’s most popular podcasts.
The “Straight Up With Stassi” host joins a slew of celebrities who have publicly discussed the medication as it skyrockets in popularity.
Her former co-star Brittany Cartwright recently shut down speculation she was taking Ozempic — as have “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” castmates Garcelle Beauvais and Kyle Richards.
Meanwhile, fellow Bravolebrities Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Fessler and Lauren Manzo have all fessed up to — and even raved — about taking some form of the drug.
