They’re girl group royalty.
Blackpink turned heads in glamorous gowns at a Buckingham Palace state banquet on Tuesday, with the South Korean artists attending in support of president Yoon Suk Yeol and first lady Kim Keon Hee before the group was made honorary Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
The K-pop singers looked regal for Tuesday night’s banquet, with each member bringing her own style to the glittering banquet, which was also attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Gloucester.
Roseanne Park, 26, who is known as Rosé, chose a classic strapless black velvet gown by Korean designer Pinkong, while Jisoo Kim, 28 — who recently split from her actor boyfriend — coordinated with her bandmate in a puff-sleeved black Dior dress and matching purse by the designer.
Jennie Kim, 27, went in the opposite direction of the dark dresses, wearing an off-the-shoulder white Lihi Hod style that channeled the Louis Vuitton dress Meghan Markle wore to the 2022 Ripple of Hope gala.
Meanwhile, Lalisa Manoban, 26, aka Lisa, wore perhaps the most regal look of all, wearing a very Kate Middleton-esque Georges Hobeika gown ($10,015) featuring aqua beading and an attached tulle cape.
Fans were loving their princess moment, like one who commented on the Royal Fashion Police Instagram account, “Love how Lisa grabbed the opportunity to wear something very royal cos this is the perfect real life time to do so
