Keke Palmer stunned in a little black dress before hosting the BET Soul Train Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday – less than two weeks after accusing her ex, Darius Jackson, of domestic abuse.
Palmer showed off her fit figure in a Versace spaghetti strap black minidress that showed off her legs and even debuted a new honey blond hair color for the occasion.
The “Hustlers” actress accessorized her look with large gold hoop earrings, gold rings and black stilettos. She styled her hair in a blowout with her ends curled.
Palmer, 30, walked the event’s purple carpet in the look, but it’s unclear if she changed outfits while hosting the show, as the show won’t air until Nov. 26.
The mom of one did, however, tease a new crimped half-up, half-down hairstyle while jamming out with who appeared to be the show’s producers in a backstage editing room via her Instagram Stories on Sunday.
Palmer’s glowing public appearance came a little over a week since she was granted a temporary restraining order against Jackson and custody of their 8-month old son, Leodis.
The “Nope” star initially filed the request for full custody and the restraining order because of alleged “physical and emotional abuse” on Nov. 9.
Palmer claimed in the court documents that there were “many instances of physical violence,” including Jackson “hitting [her] in front of [their] son,” “spewing profanities about [her] to [their] son” and “threatening to kill himself with a gun if [she] left him,” among other alleged details.
The former child star even included screenshots from security camera footage inside their home on Nov. 5 that appeared to show Jackson abusing her after having a conversation about Leo.
“At that point, he lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backwards over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands and then ran out of the house,” she wrote.
Palmer eventually ended her romantic relationship with Jackson in October, but she claimed he has only gotten “more unhinged, volatile and dangerous to both me and our son.”
They had previously feuded publicly with Jackson shamed Palmer for wearing a sexy thong dress at an Usher concert, sparking backlash.
“It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius once and for all and escape the abuse,” she wrote.
“Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence,” she continued.
Jackson has yet to deny the claims nor address the situation.
