Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold have been going through all of the emotions ahead of “Taylor Swift Night” on “Dancing With the Stars.”
The dance duo exclusively invited Pvnew inside their rehearsals for the upcoming Swift-themed episode, where they gave us a sneak peek look at their choreography and shared how they’ve been holding up with the challenge of learning two dances this week.
“Yesterday was a lot of tears, but it’s usually really fun at the start,” the “Too Hot to Handle” alum told us Friday.
“The final hour, we’re just not talking and we’re just working. We’re just playing the song back to back and just keep going. If there’s a mistake we keep pushing through and then we do it all again.”
Jowsey, 26, and Arnold, 18, will perform a rumba and a jive for the next episode airing on Nov. 21.
“It’s just so scary! There’s so many dances and we’re not allowed extra time,” Jowsey admitted, telling us he’s especially worried for the jive as it will mark their first time tackling that dance style.
“It’s hard to ask somebody to learn a dance that’s like a second priority kind of, because we’re more worried about the rumba,” added Arnold. “It’s just overall a hard week but we can push through.”
If Jowsey and Arnold make it past elimination next week, they’ll move onto the Season 32 Semi-Finals —which would be “a dream” for the both of them.
“Thinking bigger than myself, of the small kid, in a small town, on a farm, being able to do something like this. Like back when I was 10 years old, I couldn’t imagine this,” the Australian native explained.
“There’s a lot of young people that watch us, so I’m assuming some people would take some inspiration out of this string bean being able to make it this far,” he continued. “But also, [for] someone as young and as sweet as Rylee … for her to be able to live out her dream, to make it that far would mean the absolute world. We’re so close and I really want to get to the finale just for her.”
Even making it this far, Arnold said she’s “so proud” of herself, too.
“As my first season, it’s gone super smooth. It’s been so fun and so easy with Harry,” the “DWTS: Juniors” alum shared. “If we did make it to the end? It’s just crazy! Please vote because this is literally making my life right now.”
During the show’s Whitney Houston-themed episode earlier this week, a surprise shout-out from Swift played in the ballroom following an introduction from co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro.
“I can’t wait to see ‘Dancing With the Stars’ celebration of my eras next week,” the “Lover” singer, 33, said via video message. “I wish I could be there with you guys but I’m on tour in Brazil, but I will be there in spirit — and I’ll be watching.”
Knowing Swift will be tuning in this week, Jowsey and Arnold agreed that the pressure is on.
“She actually texted me that video and she said she’s only watched our dances and she votes for us,” Jowsey joked, adding, “If Taylor votes for us, you should as well!”
Arnold – who is a true Swiftie – chimed in, telling us that even thinking about the singer watching them dance makes her “want to cry.”
As for those Swift-related Easter eggs dropping on the official “DWTS” social media accounts and during the live show? Arnold said fans should look closely at everything.
“You guys can look at something as close to a girl’s nails,” she teased. “So look at people’s nail colors throughout the week. That’s just a little hint!”
Jowsey and Arnold – who attended Swift’s “Eras Tour” movie premiere together last month – previously teased to Pvnew that they’d be so down to dress up as Swift and her NFL star beau, Travis Kelce, this week amid ongoing rumors.
“I hope so! I’m willing and able to shave the beard and get a mustache … we’re ready!” the reality star exclaimed, with Arnold adding, “He would willingly do that. So I think it needs to happen!”
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes streaming on Hulu the following day.
