Joe Jonas got a telling new tattoo following his split from Sophie Turner and their subsequent custody battle.
Jonas debuted serval new pieces of ink at a Jonas Brothers concert in Edmonton, Alberta Tuesday night — including one about being “broken.”
The “Sucker” singer put his heavily-tatted body on full display in a white ribbed tank top, revealing a newly inked William Stafford quote on his bicep.
“I have woven a parachute out of everything broken,” the simple black lettering read.
The quote was written in all capitals, placed right on the inside of the 34-year-old’s arm.
He also revealed a fresh chest tattoo featuring his daughters’ birthdates.
The “Waffle House” crooner got his 1-year-old daughter, Delphine’s, birthday, “07.05.22” written above a black “x” and his 3-year-old daughter, Willa’s, birthday, “07.22.20,” written below it.
Yet that wasn’t the only tribute to his daughters. The former Nickelodeon star also sported a new stick figure drawing of a person on his arm, which was seemingly drawn by his eldest.
His final tattoo seemed to be an outline of a bird on his wrist, a potential reference to the Jonas Brothers’ song “Little Bird” — which is about their children.
While it’s unclear exactly when Jonas last took a trip to the tattoo parlor, he notably didn’t have the new designs during his concert in Seattle, WA on Nov. 10.
With the new markings, Jonas’ tattoo total has grown to nearly 30 — with most of them carrying special meanings. Along with his tattoos for his daughter, the singer also has several designs dedicated to his brothers — and soon-to-be ex-wife.
Fans have long suspected that the portrait of a woman on the “Cake By the Ocean” singer’s forearm was inspired by Turner.
He also has a small “S” on his wrist while Turner has a tiny “J” in the same spot.
The sentimental nod to his daughters comes two months after Jonas filed for divorce from the “Game of Thrones” alum, whom he was married to for four years.
Following a week of intense mediation sessions, the exes were able to agree on a temporary custody arrangement to get them through the year.
The duo agreed to alternate custody every two weeks until the first week of January, with Jonas getting the girls on Thanksgiving while Turner will have them over Christmas.
The actress was also granted permission to travel to the U.K. with the two, which proved to be a major point on contention between the former couple.
While it’s unclear what will happen once the temporary resolution is up in the New Year, Jonas will always have the girls close to his heart.
