Those Moss genes must be strong.
Lila Moss attended Royal Academy of Arts Summer Preview Party in London Tuesday looking every inch like her supermodel mom, Kate.
The 20-year-old style star wore a slinky black satin Versace slip dress on the red carpet, a ’90s-inspired style that’s practically synonymous with catwalker Kate, 49.
Who could forget the similarly iridescent (and completely see-through) version of the style Lila’s mother wore atop black briefs to an Elite Model Agency Look of the Year event in 1993?
And that’s not the only unforgettable slip into which Kate’s slipped over the years; she commissioned a white bias-cut maxi from John Galliano for her 2011 wedding to Jamie Hince, and picked a beaded black version for the 2022 Prince’s Trust Gala.
Most recently, the elder Moss selected a blush-colored slip from Fendi for the 2023 Met Gala, which she attended with her lookalike daughter.
It’s not the first time Lila’s paid tribute to her mother’s iconic personal style; she’s stepped out in Kate-worthy slip styles before and even followed in her professional footsteps by scoring her own Calvin Klein campaign in 2022, 30 years after Kate’s unforgettable CK ads.
“It’s so funny because I copy her outfits consistently,” Lila — whose father is Dazed founder Jefferson Hack — told Vogue in a video earlier this year, adding that she’s inherited countless covetable items from Kate’s closet.
“I can’t steal her shoes, which is devastating. She’s a size 6 and I’m a size 5 and it’s one of my biggest regrets,” she noted at the time.
The younger Moss made her runway debut for Miu Miu in 2020, and has since strutted several catwalks alongside her famous mom.
