From evening gowns to power suits, this princess always shimmers.
Kate Middleton looked party-ready in a sequined green dress as she was spotted leaving King Charles III’s 75th birthday celebration on Tuesday night, with the princess heading home after toasting to her father-in-law at Clarence House.
The Princess of Wales, 41, looked elegant in a glittering long-sleeved Needle & Thread gown ($1,089) as she left the King’s London residence with husband Prince William around midnight.
Although her emerald green hue is no longer available to shop, royal fans looking to recreate the outfit can still score the scalloped tulle creation in pale pink or gold.
While the party certainly had a formal dress code, it wasn’t an event that required a tiara, and the mom of three wore her hair down in a simple straight style.
This is the second time the princess has sported a Needle & Thread style; she wore the brand’s Aurora Ballerina Dress ($719) on two occasions, including a January 2020 reception at Buckingham Palace and a promotional photo for her 2022 Christmas carol concert.
As for Prince William, 41, he wore a dark suit and white dress shirt as he drove his wife home from the bash.
While Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, weren’t invited to London for the party, they chatted with the King on the phone yesterday, per the Telegraph, and during the “warm” call, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, shared a video of themselves singing “Happy Birthday” to their grandpa.
After the party was over it was back to business for the Princess of Wales, who traded her evening look for a purple power suit to deliver the keynote speech at the Shaping Us National Symposium in London Wednesday morning.
The royal rocked the same punchy purple Emilia Wickstead look she debuted during a 2021 trip to Northern Ireland, wearing the jacket buttoned-up with nothing underneath versus the navy turtleneck she originally styled it with two years ago.
She accessorized with a special pair of sapphire-and-diamond drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana for the summit, which brought together leaders in the early childhood space.
As for her evening gown, it won’t be long before royal fans are treated to another glittering look from the Princess of Wales as she is set to attend a state banquet in honor of South Korea’s president, Yoon Suk Yeol, at Buckingham Palace next week.
