Gisele Bündchen fought back tears during a lecture at the VTEX event in São Paulo, Brazil, on Monday.
The supermodel, who paid a visit to her home country this week, was overcome with emotion while up on stage.
However, it’s unclear what brought her to tears.
The 42-year-old attended the first day of the annual event, which typically sees business conferences and lectures take place in front of a large audience.
And Bündchen was joined by the president and co-founder of VTEX, Mariano Gomide, where the pair discussed the model’s “challenges to conquer the world, her job in defense of nature and her journey of example in entrepreneurship,” according to a press release.
Bündchen’s surprise appearance came just days after her ex-husband Tom Brady opened up about how the pair co-parent their two children Benjamin, 13, and Vivian Lake, 10.
The pair, who finalized their divorce in October 2022, now take turns looking after their kids following their split.
And the retired NFL player told People last week that their two kids have a “really good summer lined up” splitting travels between each parent.
“We’re going to Disneyland tomorrow to celebrate because it’s the last day of school,” the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player explained.
“Then they’re going with their mom for a couple of weeks to Brazil,” Brady, 45, continued, adding that he will subsequently travel with them to Europe.
“They’ve got lots of good plans,” added the quarterback, who is also the father of son Jack, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady noted that his intention is for Benjamin and Vivian to “stay connected with people from Boston and from Tampa and from Costa Rica and from Brazil” throughout the summer.
The former athlete added that his kids “have so many friends and cousins all over the place.”
Bündchen and Brady, who tied the knot in February 2009, both shared their co-parenting plans in social media statements.
“We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve,” the ex Victoria’s Secret Angel wrote, while Brady told his Instagram followers that their children will remain the “center” of their lives.
