Kanye West’s Sunday best is fit for a football stadium.
The controversial rapper stepped out for church over the weekend in Los Angeles, clad in the shoulder pads, skintight leggings and sock boots he’s made his style signature in recent months.
The anti-Semitic rapper wore his favorite Vetements “Polizei” T-shirt ($375) printed with the German word for “police.”
While the tee “is built with the brand’s signature oversized proportions to enhance the irreverent look,” it appears West added padding of his own underneath to create an even more exaggerated effect.
And people were quick to take to social media to roast Ye’s “weird” getup.
“why is Kanye wearing shoulder pads like they’re bringing back Dynasty?” one asked on Twitter.
“They getting ready to play football or something,” another joked, while a third agreed, “Kanye ready for a pick up football game at all times.”
Other commenters compared the “Gold Digger” rapper to the animated villain Gru from “Despicable Me” and male ballet great Mikhail Baryshnikov.
West’s “wife,” Bianca Censori, rocked an equally head-scratching ensemble for the outing: a body stocking-like dress that masked her face and bound her arms tightly to her torso.
Commenters asked if she was wearing a tire around her neck, compared her look to that of an “uncircumcised penis” and remarked that she looked like she was wearing a full-body condom.
Kanye wore his same outfit last month for an ice cream date with his Aussie lady love, who worked for his Yeezy brand before the couple wed in a non-legally-binding ceremony in January.
It appears that shoulder pads and tights are the 45-year-old dad’s new uniform – and he’ll be “Bound 2” it all summer long.
