Ioan Gruffudd was seen in good spirits just days after his 13-year-old daughter filed a restraining order against him.
The “Fantastic Four” star, 49, and his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, were spotted by paparazzi walking arm-in-arm and grinning ear-to-ear during a stroll in Los Angeles Friday evening.
The pair both flashed giant smiles to the cameras as they took their dog out for a walk.
However, just earlier this week, Gruffudd’s teen daughter, Ella, filed a restraining against both her famous dad and his girlfriend.
The young girl also sought a civil harassment protection order against Wallace.
Ella reportedly took legal action after an incident that allegedly occurred at Gruffudd’s home, while she and her younger sister, Elsie, 9, were visiting.
However, not many details about the alleged dispute have been revealed.
Gruffudd has had mounting tension with the girls’ mother and his estranged wife, Alice Evans, in recent years.
The “Titanic” actor said in court documents obtained by the Daily Mail in February that he feared that his ex’s behavior would affect his relationship with their kids.
“I initially filed the custody RFO because of Alice’s ongoing behavior toward me and toward the children, and because I believed she was interfering in my relationship with them,” Gruffudd said.
“I believe Alice continues to interfere in my relationships with the children to this day, and I believe that further custody orders are imperative at this time to prevent additional damage to the relationships and emotional harm to Ella and Elsie as a result of Alice’s continuing behavior.”
Alice, meanwhile, is seeking legal and physical custody of both Ella and Elsie.
The British-American actress has been outspoken about the fact that her ongoing divorce has taken a toll on her.
Leading up to Gruffudd filing for divorce in March 2021, Alice blasted him on social media, saying the British-born actor had left her in “excruciating” pain.
“I am still fighting against it, because I love our kids, and I still love him, but something has happened inside his head and whatever it is, I don’t see him coming back to us,” she shared on Instagram at the time.
Alice then accused Gruffudd of having a three-year affair with her friend and claimed he “mentally tortured” her when they were together.
The actor has said that his ex is on a campaign to destroy his reputation.
As a result, he filed a restraining order against Alice and a judge granted the order be extended for three years in August 2022.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that Gruffudd hoped the court’s decision would “put an end” to the discourse, as Alice had allegedly “become increasingly volatile and seemingly intent on destroying his career with her character assassination.”
Hearings for Ellas’ filings against her dad and Wallace are scheduled for June 22 and June 23. Reps for Alice and Gruffudd have not returned Pvnew’s requests for comment.
