Safety first?
Kanye West and his “wife,” Bianca Censori, attended church service on Sunday in Los Angeles, and while Ye sported his new go-to uniform of a black shoulder-padded T-shirt and sock shoes, his partner picked something altogether more bizarre.
Censori, 28, wore a body stocking-style black dress that shrouded her entire body from head to toe in sheer fabric, complete with a sculptural padded ring encircling her shoulders and neck.
And social media users had a field day with her unusual fashion statement, which both obscured her face and restricted her movement.
“Is that a spare tyre on her neck?” one tweeted, while another asked, “why is Kanye’s wife dressed like an uncircumcised penis.”
Multiple others compared Censori’s garb to a condom.
“This is not fashion. It’s madness,” yet another critic tweeted, while others labeled the couple’s looks “absurd,” “weird” and “tragic.”
As for West — who “married” Censori in a non-legally binding ceremony in January — he went with the same bold-shouldered black Vetements “Polizei” tee ($375, originally $488) he wore on a date with his partner last month.
West paired his shirt with black leggings and another pair of the thin-soled, scuba-style sock shoes he’s been favoring as of late.
This isn’t the first wild outfit we’ve seen on Censori in recent months.
The Yeezy architect and her “husband” wore full face coverings at designer Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God fashion show in April, and she chose to shield her visage with a neck gaiter while grabbing ice cream with Ye in May.
Last month, she wore a series of interesting looks ranging from a white headwrap to a nearly-nude ensemble that consisted only of black body tape.
With the official start of summer in sight, we can only imagine what this couple will wear next.
