Plot twist!
Pregnant Kailyn Lowry gave a shocking update on the sexes of her twin babies after previously announcing that “they’re boys.”
The “Teen Mom 2” alum posted a video on TikTok Friday in which a blue smoke bomb goes off — followed by a pink one.
She can be heard screaming with excitement behind the camera as her son Lux declares, “It’s a girl!” His brother Lincoln then bursts into tears of joy.
Lowry warned her Instagram followers Monday that “chaos” ensued after she received the initial gender results in an email.
“You’ll fully understand after part 3,” she teased at the time.
On Wednesday, the “16 and Pregnant” alum, 31, shared footage of herself and her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, telling the news to her sons, Isaac, 13, Lincoln, 9, Lux, 6, Creed, 3, and Rio, 11 months.
She cryptically pointed out the “foreshadowing of future chaos” with only one of the two smoke bombs going off.
Lowry’s followers speculated in the comments section that she was hinting a baby girl was on the way.
“If there is a boy and a girl, the blood test is only gonna pick up the boy,” one claimed, with another agreeing “blood tests can be wrong.”

A third fan guessed, “[At an] ultrasound or later it’s confirmed one is a girl.”
In the video, Isaac told his mom he was hoping for two sisters, while Lux wanted “one boy and one girl.” Lincoln and Creed, however, expected boys.
That being said, Lincoln later noted he had “too much brothers” and didn’t need any more.
Isaac seemingly agreed, advising Lowry to “stop having kids” because “there are gonna be more boys and more and more.”
