Brandon Blackstock didn’t get Kelly Clarkson a push present.
After Priyanka Chopra and Carey Hart explained the concept on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Friday, the host she realized she never received gifts from her then-husband when she gave birth to their daughter, River, 8, and son, Remington, 7, in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
“I didn’t get a present. Whatever,” Clarkson, who filed for divorce from Blackstock in 2020, shadily said. “That should have been a red flag.”
However, the “Mine” singer acknowledged, “I honestly don’t know that he knew.”
When Chopra, 40, noted that “when you have a baby, you should get a gift,” Clarkson admitted she thought “the baby” was the reward.
She jokingly added, “Screw you, Pink,” upon learning that the “So What” singer, 43, got a motorcycle from Hart, 47, after their son Jameson’s 2016 arrival.
Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before calling it quits. It took two years for the former couple to settle their acrimonious divorce.
The “American Idol” alum has primary custody of their little ones and was also awarded their Montana ranch.
Until January 2024, the former talent manager receives $46,000 per month in child support from his ex-wife and $115,000 per month in spousal support, as well as a one-time $1.3 million payment.
Clarkson is releasing a divorce album titled “Chemistry” this month, which she told her Instagram followers in March covers “the good, the bad and the ugly” of her relationship.
As for the title, she explained, “Chemistry can be a really amazing, sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you.”
Clarkson referenced Blackstock in her recent song “Me,” calling him “somebody who feels weak standing next to” her.
One year before the release, the Daytime Emmy winner admitted that it had been “hard to navigate” releasing music after such a “hard divorce.”
