Angelina Jolie is hiring.
Just two weeks after announcing the launch of her new fashion “collective,” Atelier Jolie, the Oscar winner is on the hunt for “creators” to work in her brand’s NYC atelier.
Everyone can join one way or another. Every customer will be part… And anyone who visits or participates online or at the many events will be a part… but today we are focusing on one part of our @atelierjolieofficial family,” Jolie, 47, began a lengthy Instagram post Wednesday.
“We are asking that you step forward and help us build our in-house team of skilled tailors.”
The “Maleficent” star added that she’s “looking for tailors who understand quality and creativity” — specifically those located in New York City, the site of Atelier Jolie’s first studio.
But the humanitarian has plans to expand, writing, “We hope there will be others soon, as we build a global family.”
Jolie ended her message by urging her followers to “be bold” with their submissions, and directed them to the Careers page on the Atelier Jolie website to submit portfolios for consideration.
“I need to figure out how to sew now,” one commenter joked.
“This is such a beautiful thing you are doing. I can’t sew to save my life, but I would support those who do,” another chimed in.
Jolie announced the launch of her brand on May 17 on Instagram.
“I’m starting something new today—a collective where everyone can create,” the “Girl, Interrupted” star began the post. “Atelier Jolie is a place for creative people to collaborate with a skilled and diverse family of expert tailors, pattern makers and artisans from around the world.”
Stars including Priyanka Chopra and Michelle Pfeiffer applauded the project, while designer Marc Bouwer wrote, “So proud to be one of the makers you’ve worked with.”
In March, the mom of six applied to trademark Atelier Jolie with plans to launch a sustainable clothing and jewelry line after reportedly working on the brand for more than a year.
