There was a “Blank Space” in the Buenos Aires crowd Thursday night.
It seems that Travis Kelce was absent from Taylor Swift’s first Eras Tour concert in Argentina, despite eagle-eyed fans searching the crowd all night.
Pvnew confirmed Wednesday that Kelce would be traveling to the South American country to support the 12-time Grammy winner.
Swift still has two shows to perform in Buenos Aires on Friday and Saturday, respectively, so the NFL star still has the chance to support his girlfriend.
Although Kelce was seemingly not in attendance, Swift still put on a flawless performance in front of over 70,000 fans as she kicked off the international leg of her record-breaking tour.
An insider close to the NFL star, 34, told Pvnew Wednesday that he was definitely traveling to see the pop star, 33, perform over the weekend — yet they didn’t specify which show he planned to attend.
However, they noted that the Kansas City Chiefs star will be returning home on Sunday in order to be ready for practice on Monday.
Swift touched down in the capital city on Wednesday afternoon without her new beau.
The songstress, who was joined by her publicist, shielded herself with an umbrella as she stepped off her private plane and into a waiting vehicle.
The following night she was seen rehearsing her three-hour show in an empty stadium — despite fans already lining up outside.
Kelce’s bye week conveniently coincided with the start of Swift’s international shows, allowing him the chance to travel despite being in the middle of football season.
The Chiefs’ next game is scheduled for Nov. 20, when they play Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Earlier in the week, Jason dropped some not-so-subtle hints that his younger brother was planning to attend one of the Argentina concerts.
At one point during their “New Heights” podcast, Jason asked Travis if he would ever like to play football in Argentina or Brazil — the first two stops on Swift’s tour.
Then during another segment, Travis teased that he wanted to go “somewhere nice” to get a tan during his time off from work.
“My skin’s getting real pale. I gotta go somewhere sunny,” the “Catching Kelce” alum added. “Somewhere south … Closer to the equator.”
After the confession, the center, 36, continued to pry about Travis’ plans, asking if the two-time Super Bowl champion was specifically hoping to go somewhere “south of the equator.”
The “Cruel Summer” singer and the hunky NFL star were first linked in September, two months after the latter voiced his interest in the singer.
During an episode of his podcast in July, Travis revealed that he went to the Eras Tour stop in Kansas City and tried to give Swift his phone number, but she “didn’t want” to meet him.
After the public confession, however, Swift seemingly changed her tune.
