Tina Turner’s widower was seen for the first time since the famed singer’s death.
Erwin Bach stepped outside the couple’s $76 million mansion in their beloved Küsnacht, Switzerland, on Wednesday and was photographed taking in all the tributes Turner’s fans left behind in her honor.
At one point, the former music executive even grabbed a flower bouquet from the memorial and walked with it as he read the messages left on signs.
The legendary Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll died on May 24 of natural causes after suffering from a “long illness.” She was 83.
“With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow,” her Instagram account noted.
“Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.”
Turner died at her and Bach’s sprawling estate, Villa Algonquin.
The “Proud Mary” performer entered eternal life without having met her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family remains in shock over her sudden death, as many had not heard that she was seriously ill, family sources told Pvnew on Wednesday.
Turner was predeceased by her two biological sons with her ex-husband, Ike Turner — Craig from suicide and Ronnie from colon cancer — but her two adoptive sons, Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner, are still alive.
“It’s time to heal. … The family really wants and needs to heal; they have gone through so much, and they continue to go through so much,” Ike’s daughter Twanna Turner said.
“These two powerhouses were such an entity — there will never be another Ike and Tina.”
Ike and Tina’s marriage ended in divorce in 1978 after the “What’s Love Got to Do With It” endured years of abuse. She eventually married Bach in 2013 after they had been together for more than 20 years.
“We grant each other freedom and space to be individuals at the same time we are a couple,” Tina wrote in “Happiness Becomes You: A Guide to Changing Your Life for Good” of her relationship with the producer.
“Erwin, who is a force of nature in his own right, has never been the least bit intimidated by my career, my talents, or my fame. He shows me that true love doesn’t require the dimming of my light so that he can shine.
“On the contrary, we are the light of each other’s lives, and we want to shine as bright as we can, together.”
