Kel Mitchell is recovering after being hospitalized for a “genuinely frightening” medical incident.
“With the grace of God and the skill of the medical team, I’m now on the road to recovery at home, embraced by the love of my family,” the “All That” alum shared on Instagram.
“Your kindness has been a lifeline, and I can’t thank you enough.”
Mitchell, 45, didn’t share the details of his medical emergency.
TMZ broke the news that the “Good Burger” star was admitted to a Los Angeles-area hospital via the emergency room Tuesday night.
Sources told the outlet Mitchell was awake and alert when he arrived.
The actor’s condition is unclear, but he was still receiving treatment as of Wednesday, per the outlet.
Reps for the Mitchell weren’t immediately available to Pvnew for comment.
Despite being hospitalized, the comedian’s Instagram account has remained active with posts promoting “Good Burger 2,” in which he stars alongside his pal Kenan Thompson.
The two ’90s hotshots — who hadn’t appeared together onscreen in nearly two decades — teased their upcoming film during a skit at the 2022 Emmys.
At the time, Thompson, 45, was playing a bartender while Mitchell — whose identity wasn’t initially disclosed — acted as a customer.
Mitchell then jumped up to surprise his former “All That” co-star and put in a nostalgic request.
“You know what … can I get a good burger?” he quipped, leading the “Saturday Night Live” alum to scream before rushing in for a hug.
“Let’s make it two good burgers,” Thompson joyfully responded.
“Good Burger 2” is set to be released Nov. 22 on Paramount+.
While Mitchell has taken a step back from larger roles, he has been active on social media to share his food reviews and glimpses of his faith and family.
The Nickelodeon alum previously opened up to Pvnew about how his come-to-Jesus moment helped him through years of ups and downs with depression.
“Just because we’re celebrities, doesn’t mean that we don’t go through things,” he said in December 2021. “I’ve been broke. I’ve been on television and lost it all.”
The “Blessed Mode: 90 Days to Level Up Your Faith” author added that at one point he even decided to be celibate for three years after having tons of sex in his 20s.
At the time, Mitchell explained he sought advice from an evangelist, who pushed him to “free himself” from sexual partners that were not “connected to God.”
“After I said all their names they were released, I released my name from them, I released my spirit from them,” he told us. “Like, I literally felt new. And then that’s when I decided I’m going to be celibate. It made me realize, like a lot of the relationships, it was all just sex.”
Mitchell has been married to his wife, Asia Lee, since 2012. The couple shares daughter Wisdom, 6, and son Honor, 3.
He also shares two children — Allure, 22, and Lyric, 23 — with his ex-wife, Tyisha Hampton.
The two wed in 1999 before calling it quits in 2005.
