Chrishell Stause shut down speculation that her marriage is on thin ice after she was spotted without her wedding ring.
A fan noticed that the “Selling Sunset” star wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in a video she posted on Instagram Sunday, which prompted Stause to do preemptive damage control.
“Ok so in case this is what the salacious headline was going to be, I’m just going to answer this right now and let you guys know it’s not going to be for what you guys think,” the 41-year-old reality TV personality told the curious fan.
Stause then explained the she and G Flip are still “happily married,” but she’s not currently wearing her because she “gained weight.”
“I am fine with that,” she said.
The Netflix star added that she will either get her ring resized or replace it with a different band “now that everyone knows” about their marriage.
“Anyways, long story short, if you see me without my ring, listen, I’m living my best life and yeah, that’s why,” Stause laughed.
The former “Days of Our Lives” actress announced that she secretly married Australian musician G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo, on May 10 after just one year of dating.
“Love doesn’t always go as planned…Sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” Stause wrote on Instagram at the time along with a video montage of the lovebirds.
She added that the 29-year-old singer is one of “the kindest, funniest & most talented hard working people out there.”
The duo celebrated their nuptials by getting matching tattoos of their vows.
Shortly after their Las Vegas wedding ceremony, reports saying the pair did not actually get legally married surfaced.
However, Stause shut down that rumor, saying, “If you don’t believe it, I don’t care and that’s the best part. I don’t need your approval.”
Meanwhile, sources told TMZ Stause and G Flip “plan to have an official wedding ceremony” later to make their marriage official.
The real estate agent and G Flip, 29, started dating after they met on the set of the musician’s music video for “Get Me Outta Here.”
“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by ‘they/them,’” Stause told moderator Tan France during the “Selling Sunset” Season 5 reunion last year.
“And they are an extremely talented musician.”
Prior to her relationship with G Flip, Stause was married to “This Is Us” actor Justin Hartley for two years until he filed for divorce in 2019.
The ins and outs of their divorce, including Stause claiming he ended their marriage via text message, played out on Season 3 of “Selling Sunset.”
She also briefly dated “Dancing With the Stars” pro Keo Motsepe, as well as her boss and Netflix co-star Jason Oppenheim.
Stause and Oppenheim, 46, broke up in 2021 because of their conflicting views on having children.
He moved on with new girlfriend Marie-Lou Nurk, 26, and has since expressed how “excited” he is for his ex.
