Bruce Springsteen is “Tougher Than the Rest.”
The musician fell while performing “Ghosts” at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam on Saturday.
A viral TikTok video of the tumble showed the singer tripping walking up the stairs to the stage, causing concertgoers to gasp.
The 73-year-old, who was wearing a guitar around his neck during the fall, laid on his back for several seconds before his E Street bandmates rushed over to help him stand.
“Goodnight everybody!” Springsteen jokingly shouted as the crowd cheered for his recovery.
The songwriter appeared uninjured, as he brushed the wipeout off and continued his three-hour show.
Fans took to social media to express their relief over the 20-time Grammy winner’s nonchalant reaction.
“Thank goodness nothing happened to Bruce Springsteen when he fell on stage last night,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another added, “Saw Bruce Springsteen tonight, at one [point] he fell over, but later on he ripped his shirt open to show his chest and remind us he’s a man! It was all very overwhelming.”
Other witnesses called the “flat-on-his-face” fall a “nasty” one.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are currently in the middle of a world tour, which began in Tampa, Fla., in February.
The group will perform in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Norway and Belgium over the summer.
The “Glory Days” singer is set to return to the States in August before wrapping up four months later with several California dates.
