Sparkles are always a good idea.
Olivia Rodrigo hit the Grammys 2024 red carpet on Sunday wearing a cream-colored vintage Versace gown that originally appeared on the runway in 1995 — before the pop star was even born.
The sleek and simple design, which was first modeled by supermodel Linda Evangelista, featured red-and-white jeweled embellishments from top to bottom as well as double straps on top.
The “Driver’s License” singer, 20, paired the elegant, floor-length piece with ruby-and-diamond stud earrings as well as an eye-catching aquamarine statement ring.
As for her glam, Rodrigo coordinated her lip to the rest of her outfit, opting for a bright red color that popped against otherwise simple makeup.
She wore her long brown hair down in loose, glamorous curls, contributing to the retro glam feel.
Rodrigo arrived solo on the red carpet, leaving boyfriend Louis Patridge at home. The two confirmed their relationship in Dec. 2023 after sparking romance rumors two months earlier.
It’ll be a huge night for the star, who is set to perform at the musical awards show and is nominated for a whopping six awards, including record and song of the year for her single “Vampire,” as well as album of the year for her sophomore project, “Guts,” among others.
The best new artist winner is sure to impress on stage after she caused a stir at the 2023 VMAs when her on-stage set collapsed — on purpose but seemingly in a terrifying scene — in the middle of her performance at the MTV awards show.
While she’s likely to bring the house down in a more figurative way at the Grammys, she’s just one among a slew of high-profile performers set to take the stage, including Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, SZA and Joni Mitchell.
The Grammys will take place on Feb. 4 at Los Angeles’ Crypto Arena and air live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. EST.
