Kendra Wilkinson has nothing but love for Hank Baskett post-divorce.
The former reality star gushed to Us Weekly on Monday about how she will “forever love” the athlete.
“He’s the greatest father to my kids and that’s all I really just ask for. That itself is so good,” the 37-year-old said of son Hank Jr., 13, and daughter Alijah, 9.
“It’s good enough and if later down the line things happen, then they happen,” she continued cryptically.
”I will always love him and I loved him once. Love doesn’t just go away.”
Wilkinson reiterated that Hank and Alijah, who were born in 2009 and 2014, respectively, are “so happy” and “so taken care of.”
In April 2018, Wilkinson filed for divorce from Baskett. The exes’ settlement was rejected seven months later, with their divorce finalized in 2019.
When asked about her current dating life later in the interview, the “Kendra” alum admitted that it is “nonexistent” at the moment.
“It’s really [not in] my head right now because I’m really so in love with building my new career and focus[ing] on my two kids,” Wilkinson explained, clarifying that she doesn’t employ a nanny or a housekeeper.
“I don’t really have a lot of time to give to some dude,” she noted. “It’s just not really exciting for me to think that way.”
The “Kendra Sells Hollywood” star gushed that “life is just getting good again” after being “in a very bad, dark place” for years, crediting her work as a real estate agent and her co-parenting dynamic with Baskett.
“You’ve just got to go with it,” she said of splitting time with Hank and Alijah. “You’ve got to figure it out and be OK with it.”
Wilkinson acknowledged that the schedule can be “tough” and she “of course” misses the little ones when they’re with the former NFL player.
She and Baskett were together for 10 years before calling it quits.
