Lindsay Hubbard is single and ready to mingle.
Following her split from Carl Radke in August, she told Pvnew exclusively at BravoCon 2023 Friday that she is “ready for a new suitor.”
Who specifically? None other than “Below Deck Down Under” star Captain Jason Chambers.
“You know, I read an article that Captain Jason had his eyes on me,” she told us. “I’m ready to go down under.”
The “Summer House” star may have some competition, however, as “Real Housewives of Dubai” cast member Caroline Brooks informed Pvnew at BravoCon that she and Captain Jason kissed this week.
“He’s hot,” she gushed in an interview Friday.
“We got acquainted yesterday. We had a drink, and I went to say bye. I was going up to my room,” she recalled.
“Well, I know he went straight in [for the kiss].”
Despite locking lips with Brooks, the 50-year-old captain said he would “ship” him and Hubbard, 37, in a game of Ship or Sink that he played with Us Weekly Thursday.
Hubbard’s comments come weeks before she was expected to marry her now ex-fiancé.
The pair’s friendship blossomed into a romance through all seven seasons of “Summer House” and they got engaged last year.
However, they split after having issues this summer.
Hubbard has been frank about her shock regarding their breakup. While she admitted they had their disagreements, she said she didn’t expect them to end their engagement.
“Every couple has normal arguments, but nothing that would’ve been so drastic as to break up,” she told Us Weekly in an interview released this week.
“It was literally the last two weeks of summer that his demeanor and tone changed.”
“There was a lot of combativeness and aggression on his end, and I was very confused,” she added.
However, Radke, 38, refuted Hibbard’s perception that the breakup came out of nowhere while speaking to People at BravoCon Friday.
“I firmly don’t believe she was blindsided because we’ve had these conversations,” he claimed.
“We had a really rough summer and I think people will see that.”
He added, “But it just shows the gravity of the situation when I really deep down felt like I needed to have a conversation with her about where we were at in our relationship and moving forward with the wedding.”
While he was the one to end their relationship, he also said it was “very painful and emotional” for him.
