Captain Jason Chambers isn’t ready to sail away with Lala Kent just yet.
The handsome “Below Deck Down Under” captain played coy at BravoCon Saturday when Pvnew asked him if he’s crushing on the 33-year-old “Vanderpump Rules” star — but he did give insight into their past interactions.
“We have met. We have exchanged … we have communicated,” he said with a grin.
However, his chief stew, Aesha Scott, may have revealed his true feelings about potentially dating Kent — who ended her engagement to Randall Emmett in October 2021 — telling us he would “la la love some Lala.”
Chambers, 50, laughed along with his co-star.
And when Pvnew asked whether or not he would want to fly to Los Angeles more to see the Bravolebrity, he responded that “it’s only eight hours from the Philippines.”
Chambers runs a dreamy beachside villa in the Asian country called The Beach House Ocam Ocam.
“Captain Cutie,” as fans have nicknamed him, has several eyes on him at BravoCon this year.
On Friday, “Real Housewives of Dubai” star Caroline Brooks revealed to Pvnew that the pair kissed this week.
“He’s hot,” she raved.
“We got acquainted yesterday. We had a drink, and I went to say bye. I was going up to my room … he went straight in [for the kiss].”
When Chambers addressed their interaction, though, he said it was just a friendly smooch.
“It was a goodbye kiss but I’m glad that she got something out of it. That’s fantastic,” he told us.
Furthermore, newly single Lindsay Hubbard told Pvnew she has her eyes on the eligible bachelor.
“You know, I read an article that Captain Jason had his eyes on me,” she said. “I’m ready to go down under.”
Of course, her comments come less than three months after she and her “Summer House” co-star Carl Radke called off their engagement. They were set to walk down the aisle this month.
As for Chambers, he has been single for several years.
He shares his daughter, Saskia, with ex Fuchsia Quinn, an interior designer who lives in Bali.
In July, the reality star said he was completely open to finding love but needed a woman who could stand on her own.
“For me to have a relationship, someone has to be very independent and secure in their own situation,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
“Someone has got to be acceptable for what I’ve got going on, which is my daughter and my work moving around. So they have to have their own thing going on.”
