Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were spotted on a “date” at an off-Broadway play Wednesday night, Pvnew hears.
We’re told that the pair, who have been seen together a number of times lately, arrived at the Lucille Lortel Theater in the Village to see “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea,” the buzzy new play starring Aubrey Plaza and Chris Abbott.
“It’s a theater date night!,” our spy positively squealed. “Bradley is always going to the theater. As you know from his film [“Maestro”] about Leonard Bernstein, he’s a big fan.”
We’re told Hadid was wearing a Yankees cap and carrying a Birkin, while Cooper, 48, was in a black t-shirt.
The source said it looked from where they stood as if they pair were holding hands as they left the theater, but they couldn’t get a close enough look to /confirm/i.
Last month Hadid and the “Silver Linings Playbook” star were also spotted having dinner together at trendy West Village spot Via Carota, and later in the month he was seen dropping her off in the city in his car. They also took a stroll in the rain together.
Now that it seems as if they’re officially an item (or, at the very least, Wednesday night theater date companions) it all adds to what is shaping up to be Hollywood’s most complex dating tangle.
Hadid, 28, was recently dating Cooper’s close pal Leonardo DiCaprio, while Cooper himself was snapped over the summer on vacation getting “touchy-feely” with his baby mamma and on-again-off-again partner Irina Shayk, who, at the time, was dating newly single NFL legend Tom Brady, who was also dating a gaggle of randos.
Cooper shares a six-year-old daughter with Russian model Shayk.
The exes spent Halloween with the kid. (Sources have told Pvnew that Shayk isn’t thrilled with Cooper and Hadid cozying up). Hadid, meanwhile, shares a three-year-old daughter with One Direction star Zayn Malik.
“Danny and the Deep Blue Sea” is a revival of a 1983 production that starred legendary character actor John Tuturro. It’s a one-act production that follows two troubled characters who meet in a bar. It’s the “White Lotus” star’s stage debut.
